C. MAIN ARTICLE

You Just MISSED OUT On $2,000 In Sales — Today!

Subtitle: How To Get Your $2,000 NEXT Saturday Instead

By Marlon Sanders

=========================================================

Here is an email I just sent to a new friend I made online,
Jason Fladlien.

Jason,

You must MISSED out on $1,000-$2,000 in sales.

Why? Because I'm writing my Sat. ezine and wanted to put in a
plug for 3hourXXX.com and there is no affiliate or clickbank link at
the bottom.

Bro, seriously. Raise the price to $47 and stick it on Clickbank then
put the link there.

If you wanna sell it cheaper, you can give your customers a coupon.

Marlon

So how does this apply to YOU since your name probably isn't Jason?

Here's why YOU also missed out on $2,000 in sales today and how
you can RECLAIM your money next weekend.

Every Saturday I send out an ezine to my list. Usually, just by
sending it this ezine brings in $1,000 to $3,000 in sales.

Now, if you think that's just because I have a big list — NOT
true. It isn't how big your list is. It's the open rate and how
many people click.

My friend Lee McIntyre gets huge response from a list 5X smaller
than mine.

You don't gotta have a huge list. But you gotta have A list.
And you gotta send out content and pitches or promotions. Now,
personally, I like sending out my content as an ezine.

But you could just as easily send out content in a video or
audio format, if you prefer doing video or audio vs. writing.
What's important is that you provide VALUE to your audience and
build a relationship.

If you don't have Ockham's Razor you're really so far out of
the loop on this, I can't even tell you. Dozens of people have
raved about it. OK, that's my plug.

To continue, my friend Jason is ALSO missing out on money just as
YOU likely are. Why? Because at the stupid bottom of 3hourXX.com
he ain't got a CLICKBANK or affiliate link.

Now, I almost always have my link to our affiliate program at the
top of the page, the bottom or both.

It doesn't cost much to throw your product up on Clickbank and
honestly, what's the WORST thing that can happen? Someone stumbles
across your site and accidentally decides to make you $250, $500
or $1,000 or more without you raising a finger?

This past week, I got over 1,500 subscriptions at this site:
http://www.FreeOnlineMarketingEbook.com

But I haven't figured out who sent the traffic yet. I'm gonna hunt
them down so I can thank them. But those subscriptions were ALL
automated. Just because someone could easily promote the stupid
page.

“But Marlon, I ain't got a product to PROMOTE and I don't have a
sales letter.”

THAT, my friend, is exactly why I was GONNA tell you 'bout the killer
product Jason has.

Because he has one of the best products I've seen (maybe the best)
on how to write a sales letter in 3 hours. Really good stuff.

But let me give you the short version here:

Study sales letters that are used to sell a product cheap — you
know, for $7-$50. Here is what you'll discover:

1. There's a good headline

2. There's an engaging opening sentence

3. There's a story that explains the credibility of the person
or the results they or someone else got with a secret, system
or plan.

4. There's an announcement of a product

5. There are benefits

4. There are bullet points

5. There's a price and an explanation of the value

6. There's a guarantee

7. There's a bonus for acting today

8. There are testimonials

You need to PRACTICE writing sales letters like that. Get
a group of headlines together, bullet points, some stock or
standard guarantees.

You can crank out a sales letter like that in no time flat.
Literally in one to three hours with just a little practice.
Or you can do it as a video (screen capture) using Camtasia
or CamStudio.

The letter is MOSTLY a headline, bullets, guarantee and
bonus.

I have a product that gives you headline templates, bullet
templates and goes through the rest. That product is at
http://www.salescopy.com

Instead of selling Jason's product, I'll pitch my own. But
you don't need my product to do this.

Do this:

1. Go to http://www.7dollaroffers.com

2. Do NOT spend any money there or you're gonna get sidetracked

3. Print out the sales letters that make you WANT to spend money

4. Develop your own template based ON them

5. Do NO copy exact wording. You copy IDEAS not words

Now, my friend Jason JUST missed out on ANOTHER $1,000 to $2,000
because he doesn't have an affiliate link or Clickbank link at
the bottom of his site on FAST product creation.

Now, I have a GREAT Dashboard on creating info products —
Product Dashboard. However, it takes six weeks to do the whole
deal. And what occurs to me is a LOT of you just will never do it.

I don't know why. But you won't.

Now, in the old days I used to sell “How to Create Your Own Products
In 2 Hours” which later became “How to Create Your Own Products In
A Flash.”

I taught people how to do it with audio and transcripts:
http://www.yourownproducts.com

By today's standard, I need to update that product. Don't get me
wrong. It STILL works. One of my friends has grossed several
hundred thousand dollars just using that method.

But it needs to have some of the newest stuff in it.

Anyway, Jason has a GREAT way to create your own reports in 48
hours. Soon as he gets me an affiliate link, I'll tell you
all 'bout it.

In the meantime, here's what I want you to realize — You CAN
product 7-15 page reports and sell them for $7 to $15. And you
can do it by next weekend.

That INCLUDES having a little sales letter done with a catchy
headline, opening paragraph or two, story, bullet points,
guarantee and reason to act today.

For the report, what you do is GRAB some of those reports you've
bought or downloaded and just FOLLOW a simple format for writing
your report.

— Introduction
— Problem
— Solution
— Steps
— Results
— Question and answer
— Troubleshooting

That's a GREAT outline for a report you can write in a day or two.
Jason actually does his research for these reports in only an
hour or two.

You don't need to spend a MONTH getting out a product.

Get it OUT the door with a SIMPLE sales letter and see if it
SELLS.

The HARDEST thing you do in business is get a new customer.
So you want to TEST your idea and see if people will BUY!

Now you have a sales letter and a product.

The LAST thing you need is traffic.

1. At minimum join Clickbank and put the link on the sales
letter.

2. Create a simple page that explains the benefits of your
affiliate program.

a. Open Front Page or Dreamweaver.
b. Insert table
c. Type out the scoop on your affiliate program
d. If you created or had created a graphic for your sales
letter, put that at the top of the page but it isn't necessary.

3. In your signature of your posts in online forums, put a link
to your affiliate sign up link:

“Get $39 per sale on a $47 product”

If you're doing a $7-$10 product, then your commission is
probably 90%.

So let's go back to how I began this letter:

“You just missed out on $2,000.”

Why?

Because:

1. You probably aren't sending out a weekly ezine or content.

Solution: Read my formula in Ockham's Razor if you have it
and DO IT! Don't just read it. Do it even if what you do is
less than brilliant or perfect.

2. You aren't getting really good at cranking out $7-$47
products, reports and ebooks in a few days.

3. You don't have a system to whip out a basic “good enough”
sales letter in 3 hours.

4. You don't have an affiliate or Clickbank link at the bottom
of the sales letter you don't have for the product that doesn't
exist.

You can CURE all of these things in ONE WEEK!

“But Marlon, I am SO overwhelmed.”

I have a solution for that also:

https://www.marlonsnews.com/overwhelm

I wrote the sales letter using what I talked about in this
ezine. I wrote it in under an hour.

The product will take 4 – 6 hours.

I won't make a zillion on it. But at least $5,000 to $10,000.
Maybe $15,000. Which isn't bad for what? 7 hours of “work,”
if you can call it that.

Here is your ACTION plan for THIS week:

1. Create a sales letter for a product you haven't written
yet.

2. Do the research for what you want to put in the product
in 3 hours or less.

3. Write the sales letter in 3 hours or less.

4. Write a 7-15 page report using the outline in this sales
letter in 2 days or less. You can also do it as video or
audio if you prefer.

5. Set up a Clickbank account for your affiliate program,
if you don't have any other software.

“But Marlon, I already HAVE a product that is NOT selling!”

Are you getting traffic to it?

If you aren't, work on that. If you've sent 1,000 decent
quality visitors and it isn't selling, then create a new
product in ONE WEEK!

See, THIS is why you want to create products fast.

They don't ALL sell!

Maybe 3 out of 10 tries sell well.

Marlon

    Dear Marlon,

i 'failed' meeting the date line….b'cos the freelancer mess up my website and cancel job last minutes….won't take my chance with them again. i want to build website myself….DOES YOUR DESIGN DASHBOARD STILL NEED TO BUY ADDITIONAL SOFTWARE OR WITHIN IT, HAS RADY TEMPLATE…..I AM ALL READY with my landing page text etc….just need a proper web-builder program to do it with guide to add paypal code.

    your advice and thanks,

    katy

[Hi Katy, yes Design Dashboard requires you to buy software that is $100. It's necessary to do pro graphics. MOST people now are going to doing their sites in WordPress. Then you set up a static page as the sales letter and eliminate all the sidebar links. If you do this, you can just use a wordpress template.

ps: am disappointed myself……..should have met the chanllenge date line 🙁

  • Jim Fortune says:

    Marlon –

I have a suggestion. Would it be possible for Tim to send out the URLs that you mention on the A Team calls to all A Team members via e-mail or post them to the A Team members area?

Good A Team call today. Thank you.

[Jim, what url are you looking for? We sent out the will cooper url. The links to Jason Fladlien's stuff are here in the blog thread and I plan to send out additional links for him. All audios are posted in the private site.]

  • Hello Marlon,

Think I messed up this post yesterday. So try, try again 🙂

Just to update as I promised (seeing as I openly rose to the challenge :))…

Did I get a product released in time?

Not quite. One, maybe 2, day's away.

    The biggest 2 mistakes were:

    1. Deciding to attempt *two* quarter-finished products to be completed within that timeline

    2. Not applying the law of "Einstein's Theory of DIY Crazy-Time" (won't bore with the details here – but they're on my blog).

Long story short: losing this battle is still helping me win the war.

Failure on 1 product released in a week, means i'm finishing up 2-in-2 🙂

And as every product these days includes a bonus, here's mine:

I'll also create a mini-report on this process as a kind of case study for week 3.

    Best,

    Adam J Hodgetts

    PS…

By week 4 I should be juggling with knives and eating fire.

(Week 5 will then see the Knife Juggling Fire Breather ebook – or me in the local ER ;))

  • Brad West says:

    Hi Marlon,

I have sent multiple e-mails to you and don't get any response back. I actually have been trying to contact and possibly have a chat with the list of gurus that I am on their list. I have been kind of contacted by two from the list and they don't have time. But are ready to take my cash if I have any.

I see you have a fantastic list of people that have helped you build your business. That is fantastic. I hope to have one to display at some point.

    Thanks,

Can't say enough thanks as I believe this will help me do a better mapping ……I was using paper and pen and need to think and create but now……my job is so much more easier. You are just wonderful and great guru and best Internet resouces and reliable!

    Marlon

Just read the post today (4/16); saw the challenge – 3 page sales letter + 10-15 page report. Couldn't think of a single thing to write about – EXCEPT – I'm considering entering a 5K fun run/walk in May to benefit the vets. I need to get supporters to give donations. Could I set up a page really quickly to just give info on why I need donations to support my walk? What do you think? I can video a two minute motivational promo too.

[Hi, sure why not? I'm not sure how you'll get people to it. But at least it's good practice and experience. Any action you take that you can learn from is better than doing nothing. Maybe you can run an ad on Craigs List to send people there or announce it to your Facebook and Myspace.]

  • katy says:

    Dear Marlon,

I personally like your products and bought it, and I am buying 2 other product by today. As I read all your products, I think I need buy promo & design dashboard, although I had already bought affiliate dashboard. I am not sure I think I may need look into more of your product. Or if I should just get Marketing dashboard. It will be best if there is ALL-In-One….

Anyhow, I do ont think I can meet the dateline 4/19. Basically, I have a real business and the coporate support already very good BUT I want to enhance it into fully-automated with incorporating ……and I am want to use your products to create a squeech page…and sell my eReport with an option for them to opt into my real business and/or resales my eReport and your products will be listed inside too 😉 …..this is a good way to present, I am a user and you can trust the product as it work!

I give myself dateline by end this month to complete my full-automated eReport with the real business I have in hand to present.

    Thanks and kind regards,

    katy

[Hi Katy, OK, ur on for the end of the month. Please report back. I would suggest Promo Dashboard for creating a squeeze page, getting opt ins and getting them to buy. And Product Dashboard for creating an info product. But for your challenge, you don't need Product Dashboard. You can GET STARTED just by doing a report that is 10-15 pages using the formula I gave in my ezine and ditto for the sales letter.]

  • Perry Keenan says:

    HI Marlon,

Thank you for being such an effective and honest lighthouse in this sea of IM.

When I found Promo Dashboard about 8 months ago I knew that I had found the real deal. I was as excited as a bunch of mine workers on payday.

I practically tore at the “bubble wrap” to get at the contents…Only to unfortunately be so… disappointed.

The reason being, that where I live on a farm in South Africa, my Internet speed is too slow to take advantage of all the video training that you provide. Videos eat up my 500meg prepaid memory contract in no time flat.

I remember how despondent I was at the time at not being able to get my teeth into all that (so desperately needed) information. It was really a case of being so near yet so far.

But all was not lost I started dissecting every word of your newsletter which I might add rank with the best of the best (Ken Evoy and Allan Gardyne come to mind when I think about your newsletter).

So for now at least, your newsletters are my dashboard. You hit the nail on the head with your emphasis on doing, doing and more doing rather than forever learning, buying, learning, buying…

The value and energy I pick up from your newsletter caused me to unsubscribe from 90 % of everything else I was readingTo put it bluntly they SUCKED by comparison and were downright HIJACKING my time and focus to make a buck from the latest gadgets.

Let me stop rambling on and wrap this up in saying that I still haven’t made a dime online but that’s okay because I AM DOING AND IMPROVING and to be honest I have never had so much fun in a long time.

Your newsletter alone has shown me what really counts and so I now clearly see the areas in which I SUCK.

Marlon, take care of yourself… go easy with the caffeine intake and don’t go upsetting your hernia, because we need you around for many, many more years to come. (AS DO YOUR FAMILY)

    So take care and

    God Bless

    Perry Keenan

    P.S

As soon as I am able to move to a location with a better Internet connection, you can be sure I will be back to pick up my dashboards. Until then keep them warm and safe.

[My hernia will be fixed soon and I'm not giving up caffeine till I'm in another place…:) Perry, you got enough just from the article this weekend to do a sales letter and a 10-15 page report. Do both THOSE then report back. I've also included links in other posts to Jason's stuff. You can download/read his stuff and it's cheap. Very helpful.]

  • Richard Hannigan says:

Marlon I am 73 years young and am a new person to this IM . I have been reading your blog for a short while and will complement you on your very open manner. And you have helped me see things that have not been obvious to me before. I read your page on how to overcome overwhelm and was very interested UNTIL I saw the price, Do I need to say I am overwhelmed, maybe even double overwhelmed. I am not judging your price just the fact that it is an overwhelming amount for someone on Social Security.

[Richard, I'm not even sure you should be starting a business if you have no money. Don't spend money you can't afford to lose. But if you WANT to go for it and understand that there are no guarantees of profit, then I congratulate you. Now, the price for my Overwhelm course isn't in your budget. So let me give you a plan B: My friend Jason is very talented and has a great way to explain things. Here is stuff he has that I know will help you and it's cheap: Here is the link to Jason’s product. It’s CHEAP. And it’ll show you exactly how to write write short reports in 2-6 hours:

The BONUS that comes with the product above shows how to do reports in 2 hours

INCLUDING the research time. They have done webinars where numerous people did this. It is NOT theory.

  • I don't usually write in response to blog threads (I try not to read many in the first place!) so 4 clicks of "Submit Comment" is quite something for me…

Thomas – I think you got off lightly with "fair enough"…

You've wasted 5 words and a period where one click of the spacebar would have done a better job.

That's part of the point of understanding some of the *value* of this post by the way (to me at least)…

Humans have a habit of turning the simplest of things into an over-complex mess: usually resulting (ironically) in the loss of the original message.

Product creation is no different. Use SIMPLE PROVEN SYSTEMS and *successful* product creation can be just that…SIMPLE.

But that's the thing with opinions…everyone is entitled to them, even when they're wrong (I know that from having to change plenty of my own :))

    PS:

Thanks Marlon for prompting my record blog post count! I'll leave you in peace now…

    Best,

    Adam

[Adam, I'm not sure if the post by Thomas was a real post or just one to try to get a backlink by blog commenting. Normally really short posts like that are just an attempt to get a backlink, which is why I deleted the URL. I appreciate your comments Adam and I HOPE others take to heart your comments here. This really IS doable in a lot less time span than most people are making it out to be. They're taking simplicity and turning it into complexity!]

  • Thomas says:

    Looks like hype to me.

[Hi, fair enough. READ the comment from Bill below who ALREADY did it. Read the others who are DOING it as you write that it's hype. Thomas, I have personally done this numerous times. Your own skepticism is your greatest enemy. Just READ what others are doing. This really comes down to getting off your BUTS and doing it. And the skepticism isn't of the process but skepticism of yourself ad your own ability to do something. But I'm an optimist about people's talents and abilities. I believe you CAN if you have a simple enough plan of action.]

  • Marlon,

On the moot point issue I was thinking more in relation to the visibility of an affiliate link affecting a potential swing of the visitor's mindset from 'prospect' to 'promoter'.

I can see how as a promoter I may not want referrals brains distracted away from the thought of buying to the thought of affiliating (unless it was a 2-tier ;))

And yes – will post back my results: for better or worse 🙂

    Thanks again,

    Adam

[Adam, I DO have a secret for that. But it's one of those things I won't reveal for free. It's too valuable. But really, don't sweat the small stuff. A product OUT THE DOOR with an affiliate program and decent promotion will in all liklihood make you MORE money than one half done or not done. So just get stuff done and don't obsess so much over the details. You know what I mean? I think people let the paralysis of analysis on details STOP them from doing anything. Just do it and make the best decisions you can.]

  • Sorry Marlon…

Idiot me – just realized how to have the best of both worlds in relation to the 'visible affiliate link' courtesy of a little bit of php 🙂

  • Marlon,

    To put it mildly…

    "What a friggin great post!"

It's so easy to waste time faffing over 'pet projects' and being prone to using the 80/20 rule through a mirror.

So strike me up as another guinea pig who happily accepts your challenge! My current project to be on sale within a week.

    Quick question though Marlon:

Have you tested how much adding the affiliate link to a sales page affects promotion rates in relation to *not* having it visible? (in other words do the sales from exposing the aff prog greatly outweigh the promotion rates by those who enroll and prefer the aff prog not advertised?)

Either way – I'll try adding it discreetly to the end of ours and see what happens 🙂

Thanks for the awesome butt-kicking wake-up call, Marlon.

    Adam

[Adam, you're on bud. Let's see you get er done! And post back here. On the affiliate link, with my affiliate program I don't pay commissions on your own purchases, so it's a mute point. It could be an issue with Clickbank. You can ALWAYS give affiliates a separate page on the domain to promote that doesn't have the link. My pet peeve though is NOT being able to get an affiliate link when I NEED it.]

Marlon, I hear what you are saying, but I struggle with this:

    1. A practical step by step outline for writing a decent article or report

    2. The same for the saleslettr. Those examples on the internet are too grahics orientated and all almost the same. Please give a practical outline of a good one.

You see, I know more or less what to do, but freezes when it comes to produce the stuff. So us newbies would do much better with a step-by-step guide for the sale pages as well as writing things!

[Hi, I GAVE you outlines for both for free in the article. However, it sounds like you need more help which I can certainly understand. Here are two outstanding resources that are underpriced and very helpful:

Here is the link to Jason’s product. It’s CHEAP. And it’ll show you exactly how to write write short reports in 2-6 hours:

The BONUS that comes with the product above shows how to do reports in 2 hours

INCLUDING the research time. They have done webinars where numerous people did this. It is NOT theory.

  • Great article. I read that Willie Crawford tells people not to promote products that have an affiliate link in the footer of their sales letter since it invites folks from taking a "discount" while by-passing the affiliate link that brought the product to their attention. That's why I was debating on removing the affiliate links to my ClickBank product. But I don't want to make it hard for affiliates to sell my stuff. 🙂

[Hi Alan, you can give a separate page to affilates if you so desire. In my case since we use our own affiliate software, I don't pay commissions on sales to yourself. But you can't do that with Clickbank. I DO provide separate pages to affiliates that have no popups on them. So you can give something different to affiliates.]

  • Bill Davis says:

I'd had an idea for some time what I wanted to sell; I just had to do it!

The short story is that I've been reading about how to write sales letters so I had an idea of what to do. I started writing and it just flowed.

It's certainly not a masterpiece, but the idea is just to get it out there and improve upon it, as you say in your post.

Write it as you think it; tweak it. Make sure it talks about the benefits – how will it help the potential buyer. It's not what the product IS; rather, it's what the product DOES, specific to the buyer.

[Great job Bill. I HOPE people are inspired by your success. I'd also add that if it starts selling well then polish the product up yourself or hire it done. Keep improving products that sell. Add video, webinar, upsells, etc. But ONLY after the product proves itself.]

  • Bill Davis says:

The report took two days (but I admit I re-used and prettied up what I had already written in various pieces over several months) and the sales letter took 15-20 minutes.

[Bill, it counts. Using what you've already written is a great thing to do. And you get bonus points for whipping out a sales letter so fast. Give our folks some tips on how you did your sales letter that fast.]

  • normz2 says:

An excellent blog. I have been on information overload. Everyone seems to have a system that works for them. So far I have not found "my system" that I am happy with. I have been collecting tons of information and have not put it all together yet. The main thing is to find a system that is right for you.

Thanks for your information, I will put some of it on my website.

[Hi, you feel overwhelmed. So this is what I recommend: https://www.marlonsnews.com/overwhelm
I created it for folks just like you!]

  • Bill Davis says:

Hey, does it count if I did this before I read about your challenge? 🙂

I just finished an eBook (20+ pages) and wrote a sales letter for a niche (bodybuilding) that I'm involved in (see my link).

THEN, I read your email! Thanks for the great work!

[Bill, YES it counts if you did it FAST. How LOOOOOONNNNGGGGG did it take you to do the sales letter and report?]

  • Corky says:

I'm in Marlon. Are you going to issue another challenge after this one to pull us along to the finish line?

[Corky, I might. I hadn't thought about it. Do THIS challenge and get a product and sales letter created. Then we'll look at the next step.]

  • Jim Fortune says:

    Hi Marlon!

I'm on. I got Jason's stuff and it was too cheap not to get it. I will have my sales page up by 4/19. Do I sign on Clickbank as a publisher for $49 or can I sell thru them without paying? A little confused on this step.

    Best,

    Jim

[Jim, I'll see if I can find a report on getting set up as a clickbank publisher. I think you gotta pya the $49. But for the challenge it's just doing the report and sales letter. If you want to do CB too, that's cool. And good so you can take ORDERS! Jason's stuff is ultra cheap…too cheap….I've told him to raise his prices….he is such a brilliant guy. Like me when I was young! Just joking on that one.]

  • You know this is a really good article. I am a newbie to this whole thing called IM and Affiliate marketing. However, yes I am getting very overwhelmed by the amount of work that is involved to get it going.

As a general rule I only have 1 to 2 hours per day do devote to this undertaking and know it is not enough. Just your sales letter you talked about would take me a full 40 week to get it even passable.

I do appreciate the advice and motivation that you put forth and try to instill in us.

I will keep reading and implementing what I can when I can.

Thanks again for the great e-zins and articles

    Hey, Marlon–

You rock. Period. I love the straight shooting advice and challenges you throw at us– Focus and Action are clearly the only path that leads to success online.

I will finish up my sales page and my productivity ebook and be online taking orders with a clickbank affiliate program set up by 4/19. I am working on a HUGE product with a Butterfly Marketing Site that is taking all my time, but I want to get something up that can make a few bucks in the meantime. I love a challenge!

    Keith deBolt

[Keith, you are a go-getter. I love your attitude. DO IT! And post back here.]

  • Kat says:

I did it by using your dashboards and have little success but not what I really want. It's called 'Killer Recruiting Secrets' -15 pages report.Still working on the promodash I bought from you and hope to see results soon.

[Kat, at least you have a START. Now you need a sales letter. Here are two products that are dirt cheap that can help you. I commend you for taking action.

Kat, if you do have the money, I think you're the sort of person who will benefit GREATLY from these 2 inexpensive but very useful products. The reason is they are 10X faster to use than the Dashboards. Once you PROVE the concept will sell then I think you go back and work through the Dashboards.

  • Hi Marlon,

Great article, Im glad Im on your list.

I was on your conference call with Perry Marshall on systems and that was a killer call.

I was taking notes like crazy on creating systems.

I never realized how funny you are!

On that call you gave such great advice worth more then most $97 products and it was free.

    Best of success,

    Robert Reuter "Black Belt Bob"

[Robert, this is what's scary. That was me being NOT funny. I was TRYING to be serious. But I'm glad you got help from it.]

  • J says:

Marlon, the outline you provided basically breaks any barries for entry and eliminates excuses. I'm your typical guy who buys the product gets started and then sidedtracked (with, guess what, overwhelm)… I'll take the challenge. Keep you posted. J

[Hi, OK man, you are ON. I EXPECT you to post back here. Now go do it!!]

    Hey Marlon,

thanks for the good insights. This is a system I will give a shot.

5-15 pages and a salesletter in a week sounds very doable, even for me, a newbie.

An if one these sells well it can be expanded into a bigger, more valuable and higher ticket product.

[Yes man, go do it!! If you need help that is dirt cheap and very high quality, here are Jason's two products.:

  • Marlon,

OK, I'm in. One 5-15 page report created, one sales letter created, and all of it posted and ready to sell by 4/19.

When it's ready, this redirect will lead to the sales page:

    http://www.tdbx.com/r/HeyMarlon

If the redirect doesn't work by 4/19, you have my permission to use me as your next "Jason".

    Regards,

[Tom, you're on and first to commit. Very nice work Tom. Now I know the name of Tom Brownsword as someone who is as DOER and not a talker.]

  • Paul Klein says:

    Hi Marlon,

Excellent article, and one that many up and coming infopreneurs would do well to take you up on! Given the odds you stated at the end of the article, 3 out of 10 products you set up online making it worth your time, that really should make internet marketers take note. Listen, considering it's the beginning of baseball season as well, when we talk about the best players, they do well to hit it 3 out of 10 times, so why should your products have to ALL make it for you to be successful.

I think if everyone took a step back, and realized the bigger picture instead of stressing over one or two products that they want to make their prize baby, they'd do better in business. Get more product out there!

    Thanks again for your wisdom!

    Paul Klein

[Hey Paul, very well spoken. I've found that maybe 1 out of 10 is a really good hit overall. Then you have 3 or 4 that sell decent to good. And then you'll have some in there that just don't do great. Like anything, it's a numbers game. Now, I'm very well aware of survey methods to put the odds in your favor. And some people claim extremely high success ratios. All I'm talking about is what someone with a modicum of effort and without being a genius has a good shot at doing. Appreciate your comments and I agree completely.]
